Vietnam

Post by Chris Barrable »

Day 2 so far about 70-90m per day. Mostly gravel and dirt roads. Similar to Morocco but with trees. Very friendly people all smiles and waving. Bikes make it more interesting. Minsk - look them up.
3/8 crashed so far including Trf chairman Mario due in part to beer O Clock, dusty sunglasses & shit roads. Reminiscent of Phil in Morocco for those who know).
Its hot here. Amazing of course.

This is a great trip. Probably the best trail riding I've done. Mostly rocky trails with hairpin bends. Think Morocco with vegetation or Strata Florida without the puddles then times 8 days. Morocco has remoteness & fear factor as only extra aspect. Hotels are top quality 4 stars. Food wonderful.
Can't recommend Explore Indochina highly enough. At around $1400 + £500 flights + beer and tips, say £2000 for 8 days of wows.
Reckon we should organise a club trip next year.

Looks an incredible adventure Chris.. and food looks interesting!! Ps At first glance that Minsk looks tidier than what you've done to your Honda!!
