9 o clock 6 riders started off at Westerleigh in the drizzle, Martin B, Ian D, Julian, Matt, Alan & Brett. We did ring of bells and got as far as Doynton, then Martin had to rush back to Westerleigh, something about a Woman and Church, don't ask.
We met up at the top of Tog hill, more lanes in Marshfield and met two more newbes, Derry & Tom, at the start of the Fosse. Good run with quite a few Horse riders encountered, then we ran into a hunt, Horses, 4 x 4's and people everywhere, we were glad to get past that lot.
Carried on up past Cirencester for fuel & lunch stop, where Alan opted to take the road home. Not long after Derry had a slow speed off, but a fence post knocked him silly, so Tom and him took the black top back. Down to 5 we had a good pace back down the Fosse and got to Burton at about 4.30, where we saw Tom & Derry making slow progress back to their van.
All in all it was a good day, no real problems, and everyone thanked Martin for a great ride out
