Swindonian LDT: Highs & Lows..

Post by Rich Beale »

Sunday saw the annual Swindonian LDT take place in baking weather.. the mud was like rock and ruts like railway tracks..
Six of us took part - John P, Dude & Junior, Ian H and Pete B.
This year was definitely harder than previous years with a 100 mile route and 30 sections.. lots of tight turns, off cambers and steep climbs.. Challenging but a well organised event and lovely ride about the Countryside.
Without Manty, me and John got lost a few times but a least we didn’t get shouted at..

The bad news: Pete took a tumble and has broken at least his collarbone, we wish him a speedy recovery and all the best. If anyone has his address (secretary?) we will send him stuff!

The good news was that the rest of us all got round and finished.

Bit of a break now till next batch of Trials, so time for some trail riding!

Let the Sun shine.
