What a Glorious day today sun was shining loads of snow making the lanes a little tricky but the roads were more trick than the lanes only ended up in the hedge a couple of times.
Lunch was at the horses stable in wellow as you can see the sun was shing and felt like we were having lunch in the french alps hot sun surrounded by snow.
Just a good day trail riding.

He's not kidding about the alpine lunch - I burnt my forehead slightly!
We took it really easy and had a cracking day, a real lesson in low speed throttle control! All the places that are normally difficult were easy but some places (inc on tarmac!) that normally wouldn't even register were really difficult and several times we both had to resort to pushing the bike up very gentle rises! But the vast majority of the day there was plenty of grip despite puddles having mostly about 10-15mm of ice, but some up to 30! In one 200mm deep and long puddle Trev's tyre knobbles cut through it like a saw and I found myself riding through a slot in the ice the width of his back tyre. Now that's what you call an extreme rut!
Great day, so different to normal.
It was a great day then again any day trail riding is a great day.
