SUMMER BASH 2019

Post by Mike Mant »

Well we have had the summer bash. Llandovery was the location and a very good campsite at a very good price. £7 per person per night. We where 1/4 mile from town centre and therefore not to far to stager home from the pub. We cover 109 miles the 1st day through Brechfa Forrest in a big loop . Day 2 was 149 miles Rhayader and Strata Florida and Sennybridge Ranges in a figure of 8. Breakfast was in the café each morning and lunch some say WHAT F------- LUNCH on route. Few minor breakdowns on the 2nd day , but nobody drown their bikes though . Some did however complain about wet feet . Doug and I got home at 9-30 pm on the Sunday night. 16 of us made it. The curry night was excellent and more important no injuries other than a few aches and pains.
