Abergavenny /usk 25th Aug

CHRIS BARABLE is a top dude he took us on a great ride today I did feel like I'd entered the dawn till dusk I was picked up at 7am and got home at 9pm but cracking lanes rather warm great people we had a blast some of the route was very over grow and ripped my arms neck etc should of avoided them but the rest was great and we enjoyed cheddar cheesey chips with a pint before returning he thinks of everything

Thanks Ian, Tom, Greg, MikeW & DaveV for a great if sweaty days trail riding. We did about 70miles but took all 7 or so hours of riding to do it.
We had two pub stops but the first was too busy & sunny to warrent more than a drink.

Thanks for a fantastic day riding which included a full range of challenges from woods,overgrown hidden lanes to steep rocky climbs and stream beds.
Most of my body aches a bit today.

The Greyhound Inn, near Llanllywel just S of Usk is a fabulous place to finish a ride on a sunny day - shade, cold beer and fabulously cheesy chips. Wonder if the landlady would be up for letting us leave the vans in the bottom corner of her massive empty car park?
