Where the Fosse are we going? 16/9/20

Post by Mike Wain »

After an initial problem where the meeting point garage 3 of us planned to fill up at before starting (BP just S of Hullavington) had just been demolished (they were literally putting the final touches to tidying up the rubble heap as we arrived at 9am!) we had a really nice ride around in the sunshine. We found that Marshfield has a proper old world petrol station, but they do take cards, and the Sweetapples Tea shop does great food, biker friendly, outdoor tables and bike park round the back! That was the half way point in the ride, which was 100 miles total.

Chris Barrable admitted that on a couple of occasions he had wondered where the Fosse we were going and then that he'd never done a couple of the lanes! OMG!

Getting to grips with Viewranger now, considering doing a Bristol to Aldworth Loop sometime on a Weds if anyone is up for that?
