Thursday the 26th Sept. We all met up in the lay by passed Llowes on the A438 Hereford Rd. I knew it was going to be a good day from the start. As Deano was unloading the bikes and Graham was changing. A young lady stopped me as i was putting on me Padded short to ask if i could take her out for a RIDE one day. She was 44 5' 7" tall and Blonde she left her name and telephone Number with me. The only down side was she has a 1994 Yamaha TTR 250. (Glen I think I've found the girl for you). Anyhow we hit the trails by 9. Up on the Moor land, we got completely lost in the fog and mist, but we had a good ride round till we found a road and with the aid of Deans GPS and the maps we were back on route. The rain started about an hour into the ride which after the dry spell we've had made things very interesting . We took in all the trails east of Builth Wells and headed up to Kington. There are a lot of UCR's, BOAT's & ORPA's in this area. We made Kington by 2-00pm .The "Strokers" where down to their last 1/2 L and where a tad concerned. By now we had ridden 23 lanes. Graham had had a lie down in the river, but everybody was wet through by now. A cup of coffee and bite to eat and fueled up and we were off again to do another 10 lanes and back to the Vans by 5-15 pm. The bikes all ran well. There's a few Photos on Face book as I am struggling to upload pics on to this site ( Trev HELP). I know every body enjoyed themselves , just a pity we never saw the Sun. Still I never dropped the BERG all day and pulled a bird before 9 am. This retirement "SUCKS"
