Great days green laning old skool. 8 left the cafe at 10am. Some familiar & some not so familiar lanes on way out. Paul suffered terminal electric failure nr Chilcompton - hope you got home ok. Weendy windy, Fosseway by Shepton Mallet then to a great pub at Batcombe for Sunday lunch & a piny in the sunny beer garden. Deep River crossing made harder when front brake locked on!! Great sunken lanes nr Castle Cary & fuel at 55m. Dave ripped his bladder & fitted a new one. More stuff by Pennard ziggy zaggy to Wells & back over the Mendips joining Ubley Drove back to familiar lanes. Chris and Jay headed road back whilst the hardcore trio took in the awesome river at Woollard. Yes it's long & deep. How we laugh!
112m in total. Back home at 630.

Great day Chris - I did think we'd taken on too much with the river at the end, but we got through!
