Fosseway and beyond

Post by Ian Trevor Brooking »

Took a little ride out on sunday thought it would be a good idea to see whats above our local ride out to the fosseway, so i took 5 hardt riders and myself met at the crown on the a46 left at 9AM and started the ride .
We kept a good pace on all the lanes all the way to the garage/cafe on the a417 stopping a sarnie 12midday after this we hit a couple of usual lane's then heading north toward cheltenham into mainly ucrs that we do not ride from ther heading east and riding as far as stow on the wold and bourton on the water and then from there heading back towards the fosseway via south cerney and the cotswold water park.

We found some great lanes and a old train line (unused that might be good to check out at some time to ride ) .

The ride out took us 180 miles and 11 hours 2 refills and a bit of extra fuel for dave ingle on his thirsty gas gas lucky the ktm 300 is not so thirsty and can spare some fuel and still get home.

All in all a great day with great weather :) good friends who had a bit of patients thanks guys for joining me in this ride .

A big happy birthday to Graham for last week and a bigger thank you for his birthday cake he brought along.

Brilliant day out, a little tired when I rolled in at 9pm!!
